Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling is one of the most adrenaline-pumping, action-packed winter adventure you can do as a day trip from Banff.  Taking place outside Banff National Park (either Golden or Panorama areas) you usually start out with a follow the leader style, gaining in elevation and confidence.  Once you have reached the open bowls, most people are ready to "let 'er rip" and have some fun in deep powder.  Appreciate the backcountry views over a delicious BBQ lunch is a great way to warm up before taking to the return trails.  Average tour duration is around 5hours.

Available as a single driver or driver + passenger combinations, the tours include a snowmobile suit, helmet, boot and gloves.  Snowmobiles are either 380cc or 660cc.
