Horseback Riding

Horseback riding in Banff ranges from hourly horse rides with either mountain or river highlights, to full day Explorer trail rides, for those wanting to experience a little bit of backcountry by horseback.

Very popular are either the Morning and Evening Steakfry Rides. A beautiful horse back trail ride along the Bow River in Banff to a cabin in the woods. Enjoy a stretch and cowboy games, while a delicious BBQ breakfast or dinner is prepared, followed by a trail climbing to the top of the Windy Knoll for spectacular views of the surrounding Banff mountains on the way back to the stables.
