Snowmobile Tours from Banff

No snowmobiling is allowed within the boundaries of Banff National Park, due to the strict protection regulations.  However there are a number of snowmobile tours that leave from Banff hotels each day for the Golden and Panorama areas, that border Banff National Park.   

Both these snowmobile tours from Banff follow a similiar days itinerary.  Pick up Banff Hotel to the lodge where you will suit up and spend some time talking about the machine and general safety.  The trail starts in single file on your skidoo on a switchback trail as you gain elevation and confidence with the machine.  When you arrive at the powder field bowls, you get to let loose, and maybe spend some time digging yourself and your machine out.  A BBQ lunch is provided in a backcountry cabin and then drive back to the lodge in time for your departure Banff.  If you haven't tried it before it's one of the most popular winter activities in Banff and a wild winter adventure!
